Coach Johnson is a 1988 graduate of Albany State University. He recruited and coached football and baseball at Albany State for 3 years.

Coach Johnson is married to Terry and they have three children, Jordan 15, Austin 12 and Maya 11.

Lance Wright

Coach Wright is in his third year at Newman Smith High School.  His is a 1998 graduate from the University of Central Oklahoma.  His teaching field is Health and Physical Education.

Coaching Highlights

Coach Wright is beginning his 14th year of coaching basketball.  He also has 2 State Tournament appearances under his belt while at Capitol Hill High School in Oklahoma:

1997 Class 5A State Runner-Up and

1998 Class 5A State Semi-Finalist.
